Captain Sergio Restrepo

Captain Sergio Restrepo is at the helm of Circle Hook. His deep appreciation, respect for the ocean and love of adventure has led him from Medellin Colombia to the Paradise of Costa Rica. Captain Sergio was first introduced to Sport Fishing in 2014 and fell in love instantly. Captain Sergio started on Circle Hook from the ground up. In 2017 he assisted in the boat being partially rebuilt and continued on as second mate. He quickly rose to first mate and has been the Captain since early 2019.

Captain Sergio is truly top notch at client satisfaction. He is friendly patient and very accommodating with our clients’ fishing desires. He is an excellent teacher as well and enjoys taking his young son Max out on the water to show him the tricks of the trade. When he isn’t on the water creating life long memories for our clients, he can be found surfing the waves right outside his beachfront home. Captain Sergio loves all fishing, but he considers the catch and release of Sailfish his favorite.
